Corporate Culture Design

Developing a More Effective Work Environment

Imagine a business environment where people put the interests of others first, where everyone freely mentors each other, truth is common and trust abounds. Creative ideas, whatever their source, are welcome and people are encouraged to take risks and given credit for their accomplishments.

This corporate culture design of success is called the Heroic Environment® and it can be created, with intention, through the Shared Values Process®. The Shared Values Process is a company culture development methodology designed to facilitate the creation of a principle-centered social contract between all members of the corporate culture that result in this Heroic Environment.

The Shared Values Process®

There are eight key values which the Shared Values Process aims to habituate within the corporate culture through its program.

  • Treat others with uncompromising truth.
  • Lavish trust on your associates.
  • Mentor unselfishly.
  • Be receptive to new ideas, regardless of their origin.
  • Take personal risks for the organization's sake.
  • Give credit where it's due.
  • Do not touch dishonest dollars.
  • Put the interests of others before our own.

The Shared Values Process is extremely successful and the results prove it. Results typically include:

  • People clearing issues between one another.
  • Low tolerance for and incidence of finger-pointing, siloing, gossip, belittling and other such negative behaviors.
  • Optimum productivity and profitability, regardless of how it is measured.
  • Smooth operations.
  • More mentoring and less managing people.
  • Increased levels of engagement, retention and cooperation.
